Gallena University invites members of the public to its Self Defense for Women workshop, designed to increase knowledge, self-confidence, common sense, protection strategies for preventing attack, and effective escape techniques to use in case of assault.

Women are encouraged to attend. Mothers and daughters are welcome, as well as young women preparing for or attending college or considering study abroad.

The workshop is $30 and pre-registration is required. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a lunch and water.
