Sylvester Phalen was born and raised in beautiful Brightrock, a small town found in the state of West Virginia. Always interested in Art, Sylvester earned a Ph.D. in Art from Venedy College. Phalen has enjoyed teaching for 11 years. Author of Big as Life: Everything You've Ever Wanted to Know About Art, Sylvester is well-versed on this subject. Sylvester enjoys hobbies such as american football, slot car racing, people watching, airsoft, and boxing.
